Each year, the  Congressional  Black  Associates  holds  an award  ceremony  honoring  previous  members who  have  gone on to become  leaders  in  the  public  or  private  sector.     Some of  the  honorees include: Majority Whip James Clyburn, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Congressman William Lacy Clay and Congresswoman Marcia Fudge.
